Duplicate File Detective Help

Duplicate File Detective offers support for email integration via SMTP, thereby allowing duplicate file reports to be sent to one or more recipients via email. Email functions are accessible from the command line and task scheduler interfaces.

 

General

 

•Mail server - The SMTP address of your mail server.

•From address - The email address from which email messages will be sent.

•SMTP port - The SMTP port of your mail server. Port 25 is the default, standard SMTP port.

•Security - Choose between "None", SSL (secure sockets layer), or TLS (transport layer security).

 

Authentication

 

•Use SMTP authentication - Check this box if your mail server supports (or required) SMTP authentication.

•Username - When using SMTP authentication, specify your authentication username.

•Password - When using SMTP authentication, specify your authentication password.

 

Options

 

•Subject - Specify a subject to be used when sending email messages.
